These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by NCGW LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16822491, with registered office at 181 Barton Lane, Manchester, M30 0HN.
By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order or booking work.
We provide floor and wall covering services including but not limited to:
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided to us and our assessment of the work required.
If we discover additional work is required after providing a quote (for example, subfloor preparation not visible during the initial survey), we will inform you before proceeding and provide a revised quote for your approval.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable. If we are not registered for VAT, no VAT will be charged.
An order is confirmed when you accept our quotation in writing (including email) and pay any required deposit.
For most jobs, we require a deposit of 50% of the total quoted price to secure your booking and order materials. The balance is due on completion of the work.
If you cancel an order after materials have been ordered, the deposit may be non-refundable to the extent that materials cannot be returned to suppliers. We will always try to minimise any loss.
You must provide clear access to the work areas. The rooms should be cleared of furniture unless you have arranged for us to move it (additional charges may apply).
The subfloor must be dry, level and structurally sound. If the subfloor requires preparation, this will be quoted separately or included in your quote if identified during the survey.
We will provide an estimated start date and duration for the work. While we make every effort to meet these timescales, they are not guaranteed. We will inform you as soon as possible of any delays.
Payment is due as follows:
For larger commercial projects, alternative payment schedules may be agreed in writing.
We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card and credit card. Cash payments may be accepted for smaller jobs.
If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. This covers defects arising from poor installation but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or damage.
Flooring products carry manufacturer warranties which vary by product. We will provide warranty information with your order. Claims under manufacturer warranties must be made in accordance with the manufacturer's terms.
Our guarantees do not cover:
For contracts made at your home or away from our premises, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of signing the contract. This right may be lost if the work is completed within the 14-day period with your agreement.
If you cancel after we have ordered materials, you may be liable for the cost of materials that cannot be returned. We will provide evidence of any such costs.

Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the contract value. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable legislation. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not carried out with reasonable skill and care.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
